Have you ever wondered who is singing outside your window or soaring above the trees? Join us at Flower Memorial Library on Wednesday, July 29th at 6:30 pm for a beginner friendly introduction to the world of birds for all ages!
Learn how to spot common birds, practice using binoculars, and discover simple tips for identifying birds by their colors, shapes and songs. Whether you’re a curious kid, a nature-loving adult, or a family looking for a new hobby to enjoy together, this is a great way to start or expand your outdoor explorations. No experience is needed – just bring your curiosity and love of nature!
There is no charge for attending or for parking. RSVPs appreciated. Click on the Find Tickets button to RSVP.
We’ll have a limited number of binoculars available for those without their own.
You may want to add Cornell Lab of Ornithology’s free eBird (checklist keeper) and/or Merlin (bird ID) apps to your smart phone prior to the program. Make sure to download the northeast U.S. bird pack from the apps’ settings menus.
