AUDITION NOTICE
BRUNSWICK LITTLE THEATRE Features “On Golden Pond”
By Ernest Thompson Directed by Ken Greenman
July 06, 2026 -- Brunswick Little Theatre (BLT) closes its 2026 summer season with the poignant blockbuster On Golden Pond running from October 8-25. Made popular by the acclaimed film of the same name starring Henry Fonda and Katharine Hepburn, On Golden Pond highlights an aging couple, Norman and Ethel Thayer, spending the summer at their Maine lake house with their new teenage stepchild. The story touches on themes of aging with grace, building generational bridges, and mending family relationships.
Auditions will be held at BLT in the Ryan Tewell classroom (behind the theatre) on:
Friday, Aug. 7 from 6-8 pm
Saturday, Aug. 8 from 4-6 pm
Sunday, Aug. 9 from 4-6 pm callbacks or read thru possible
Brunswick Little Theatre is located at 8068 River Rd. SE, Southport. Please bring a photo and resume and a list of rehearsal and performance conflicts between August – October. Readings will be from the script. PLEASE NOTE: We strongly encourage auditions from artists of all backgrounds, cultures, and identities to ensure our cast reflects the diversity of today’s world. No roles are pre-cast.
