Audiobook (Silent) Walk & Donation Drive for Open Door Mission

Mingling for 10 minutes, followed by a 3-mile silent walk. We'll wrap up by chatting and collecting donations for Open Door Mission.
About this Event

We'll start with 10 minutes of mingling followed by a 3-mile silent walk at Lake Cunningham. We'll wrap up by sharing what audiobooks we listened to. Bring your own audiobook and headphones.

What to expect: We’ll kick it off with 10 minutes of mingling to share what you're reading and loving these days. Then, we'll kick off a 3-mile quiet walk and wrap up with sharing what we read. We will start and end our walk at Entrance 1. Meet at the green lighthouse near the bridge. We'll walk for about 1 hour and wrap up.

After the walk, the host Jasmine will be collecting donations for , which recently requested donations to help fill their pantry. Current needs: Hamburger helper or other boxed meals, cereal, pasta and pasta sauce, macaroni and cheese, canned fruit, and more. Jasmine will deliver the donations for our group.

Note: We will be taking photos and videos of this event, so please share if you're uncomfortable being on camera - no pressure. We'll share your book recs on social media and use the footage to advertise a future group walk!
