Join us for the launch of Atypical Love — a vibrant new anthology celebrating Neurodivergent+ voices and the many shapes romance can take.
Created through our Neurodivergent+ arts collective, MixMatched, and supported by Arts Council England, Atypical Love brings together short romantic stories from nine local Neurodivergent+ authors. Each piece offers its own take on love, connection, and human complexity, all written from perspectives too often overlooked in mainstream publishing.
We are thrilled to host this intimate launch event at Chapters, a much-loved family-run bookshop café known for its cosy atmosphere and community spirit — the perfect setting to celebrate a project grown from collaboration, creativity, and care.
The anthology features a thoughtful foreword by acclaimed autistic author Joanne Limburg, whose work (including the deeply moving Letters to My Weird Sisters) explores identity, womanhood, and the lived experience of being different in a neurotypical world.
Come along for an evening of readings, conversation, and celebration. Meet some of the authors, learn more about the MixMatched collective, and be among the first to get your hands on a copy of Atypical Love.
We can’t wait to share this book — and this moment — with you.
