Atlantic Works Gallery Announces Its January Exhibition

Dark and Light addresses member interpretation of the theme within their chosen medium

For its January exhibition Atlantic Works Gallery (AWG) is inviting its members to submit work exploring the theme of light and dark. This exhibit fosters artists’ interpretation of what light and dark mean within their discipline.

The exhibition will open at the East Boston gallery on January 4 2025 with an opening reception at the gallery on the same day from 3:00 to 6:00 p.m. There will be a Third Thursday reception with artists’ talks on January 16 2025 from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. The show will close on Saturday January 25 2025.

This exhibition is a collection of members’ work that explores mediums and experiments with the theme of this exhibit. Artist members’ works range from representational themes abstraction and conceptually inspired works. Members' works range from charcoal to paint and digital works.

Atlantic Works Gallery 80 Border Street Boston MA 02128 now in its twenty-first year is an artist-run collaborative space for art and ideas located in East Boston. The gallery is open to the public every Friday and Saturday 2:00 – 6:00 p.m. For more information visit https://atlanticworks.org/ .
