Athletics Wollongong's World U20 Championships Fundraisers

Athletics Wollongong are hosting fundraisers to assist our members who will be going to the World Athletics U20 Championships.

Chase Grant, Chelsy Wayne and Maiya Hewitt will be flying the Aussie flag in Oregon this August, taking on the best junior athletes in the world.

It's an incredible honour for them to be selected as part of the national team, but it does come with a significant financial cost - Athletics Wollongong are hoping to ease it for them a smidge.

We'll be calling upon our community to:

- come along to Wiseman Park Bowling Club on Saturday, June 20th. There'll be barefoot lawn bowls fun, along with some games and prizes. The event will kick off mid-afternoon and be suitable for all ages. Ticket sales are open now! (See: https://www.athleticswollongong.org.au/events/360388 )
- We'll also have some lucky draws on the day. You needn't be in attendance to be a winner as tickets can also be purchased via the club website. The main draw is limited to 100 tickets w/ a prize split of $500/$150/$50 (See: https://www.athleticswollongong.org.au/shop )
