At the Limits of Prediction - Dr Anne Marie Cunningham

Dr Anne Marie Cunningham is RCGP Clinical Lead for Data and Digital, a GP in County Down, and a GP Medical Adviser to the Strategic Planning and Performance Group at the Department of Health. She is also an Honorary Clinical Lecturer at Queen's University Belfast. A Queen's graduate, she trained as a GP in Northern Ireland before spending twenty years in Wales as a GP, clinical academic and clinical manager, latterly as Associate Medical Director for Primary Care at Digital Health and Care Wales. She holds a Master of Public Health and is a Fellow of BCS, the Chartered Institute for IT. Her professional interests include making better use of the data the health service already holds, value-based care, the role of AI in general practice, and reducing inequalities in care. For over a decade she has organised NHS Hack Days, which bring together "geeks who love the NHS.
