On behalf of the Organising Committee I invite you and your organisation to become part of the 2nd ASEG DISCOVER Symposium (DISCOVER 2026). The Symposium will be held from Monday 26 – Friday 30 October 2026, at the Pullman Cairns International and sponsorship & display opportunities are available.
DISCOVER is back for its second edition! Building on the success of our inaugural event, the ASEG is pleased to present the leading forum in the region that is dedicated to applied geophysics in the mining, energy and near-surface industries. Your support helps ensure DISCOVER continues as a sustainable, bi-annual platform for technical exchange, networking and collaboration.
DISCOVER is expected to attract many local and international delegates and organisations from across the disciplines of applied geophysics representing industry, government and academia.
The Symposium will include keynote speakers, oral presentations and workshops, focused on master-class and short-course delivery. We expect the content of the Symposium will cover a broad spectrum of themes including advances in exploration and sustainable resources recovery, opportunities for the energy transition, data science, technology & innovation.
