Step out of the ordinary and into the Forest of Arden. We Queen Charlotte's Villeins (Charlottesville's Shakespeare Troupe) are transforming The Stage at WTJU into our "Villeins Lair"—a cozy, immersive sanctuary of storytelling.

This isn't your typical, rigid recital. This is a rough-hewn and passionate staged reading of As You Like It, intended to be playful, expressive, and surprisingly powerful.
Set in our café-style environment with intimate seating, you will be inches away from the wit of Rosalind, the passion of Orlando, and the melancholy of Jaques.

With an original soundscape designed to bridge the gap between the broadcast studio and the pastoral wild, this one-day only presentation strips the play down to its rebellious, heartfelt core.
