Group Statement:
Our painting group was brought together by Lorraine Danzo. Together we’ve been embracing and enhancing our creativity for over a decade. Lorraine and Laurel provide the impetus and studio space for our regular meetings. Every artist brings their unique perspective, new ideas, creative energy, and treasured friendship. We’ve shared new techniques in most art mediums and friendship experiences. We made it through COVID meeting in Lorraine’s driveway/garage. We’ve painted metal butterflies for the annual Rotary Club Fundraiser. We’ve supported the art competition and calendar to raise awareness and funds for the Asian Heritage Center. Examples of our explorations include: acrylic pouring, paper mache and pass the canvas abstracts, tie dye, eco printing, marbling and our latest collage using Laurel’s and Jeannie’s wonderful marbled papers, We’ve traveled, played, laughed and cried together. Over the years we’ve enriched each others lives. We hope you see our diverse perspectives and feel our love and delight in this exhibit
