Artist Trading Cards

Making Artist Trading Cards (ATCs) is probably the easiest piece of art that you’ll ever make. After a brief introduction to ATCs, participants will have time to make their own one-of-a-kind cards. Workshop attendees will also have the opportunity to make new friends and trade cards if desired.

Materials

Attendees are asked to bring the following to the ATC Workshop if possible*. Look in your junk drawer at home and see if you already have any of the items before buying new ones. Suggestion: Pair up with a friend and share materials!

⁃ Cards cut to 2.5 x 3.5 inches, the standard size (Cards can be made from empty cereal boxes or cardstock, watercolor or mixed media paper.)

⁃ Scissors

⁃ Glue (Glue stick is fine.)

⁃ Pencil and colored pencils (your favorite drawing/sketching instruments)

⁃ Crayons and/or Markers

⁃ Any other of your favorite and easy-to-use art materials.

*Workshop facilitator will have extra papers, magazine pictures, scrapbook papers, craft paint, paint brushes, and other assorted materials for use, so don’t sweat it if you don’t have all of the suggested materials.
