Artist to Artist with Lizzy Webster

Lizzy Webster currently works at Nelson Byrd Woltz Landscape Architects, where she is currently working on multiple garden, memorial, and conservation agriculture projects. She holds a Master of Landscape Architecture and Certificate in Urban Design from the University of Pennsylvania Stuart Weitzman School of Design. During graduate studies she held multiple teaching assistant positions and worked as a Research Fellow for PennPraxis, collaborating with Ramapough Lenape Turtle Clan leadership to survey and document Ceremonial Stone Landscapes in central New Jersey. In this position, she learned the values of indigenous history and culture in the landscape and how plants, rocks, and animals are our oldest teachers – knowledge that guides much of her design work today. Prior to graduate studies, Lizzy received a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Painting and Printmaking from Virginia Commonwealth University.
