About this Event

Hosted by the Curator Dr. Lauren Davidson

Featuring Artists Michèle Colburn, Charles Jean-Pierre, Bryan Jernigan, Nolan Noble, and Dina AZ. Salem

Join us for a special Artist Talk & Curatorial Tour featuring the artists behind the exhibition Where It Lands: The Space Between, currently on display in the Main Gallery at The DC Arts Center.

Where It Lands: The Space Between brings together contemporary artists working across painting and assemblage, united through a shared exploration of color, materiality, and emotional resonance. Created in a time of heightened uncertainty, the works embrace ambiguity, inviting viewers to engage through sensation and emotion rather than fixed interpretation. Through layered surfaces and dynamic use of color, the exhibition offers a space for contemplation, quiet reflection, and wonder.
