Join us for a unique and immersive workshop where dance meets live music! This collaborative experience brings together bellydance and drumming to help you deepen your musicality, confidence, and connection on stage.Together, we will explore a variety of rhythms, learning to recognize their structure, mood, and energy. You’ll discover how different movements and qualities in bellydance can best express each rhythm, helping you move with more intention and authenticity.
A key focus of the workshop is communication—both verbal and nonverbal—with a live drummer. We’ll share practical tools and tips to help you interact confidently, respond in the moment, and build a dynamic dialogue between dancer and musician.
Through guided improvisation exercises, you’ll have the chance to apply what you’ve learned in a supportive and creative environment. Whether you’re new to dancing with live music or looking to refine your skills, this workshop will expand your artistic expression and empower you to improvise with clarity and confidence.
Please bring a notebook. Come ready to listen, move, experiment, and connect!
