Join Lead Artist Amanda Waschevski for an open discussion and Q&A to mark the closing of the People of Ipswich exhibition.
This session moves beyond the formalities to explore the true origins of the project, which began over a decade ago. Amanda will share the personal and artistic evolution of both herself and the concept, tracing the journey from those early ideas to the "Reverse Exhibition" we see today.
What to Expect:
1. An honest look at the project's 10-year history, the challenges faced, and how the artistic vision shifted over time.
2. An open floor for questions about the process, the philosophy of "Studio Dignity," and the future of the archive.
3. Portrait Collection: This is the primary day for participants to collect their archival prints. (If you cannot make it on Sunday, please contact Amanda to arrange collection from her studio).
4. A final chance to view the complete 200-portrait mosaic before the exhibition concludes.
