In recognition of America’s 250th anniversary, Sparrow Bones, in collaboration with Wyoming State Parks and Cultural Resources is hosting a singer songwriter showcase and a forum style open mic at Edness K Wilkins State Park as part of the summer artist residency program.
The aim of the showcase is to highlight the hidden depth of some of the lesser-known songwriters of Wyoming, and how they were shaped by the parks and nature they grew up in. Alongside a showcase of a few handpicked artists, the public is invited to come, sit, and share your story, testimony, and music with other like-minded artists. Poets, story tellers, and lovers of the parks are welcome. There is no skill level or prerequisite, only to come, bring a seat/blanket, share and listen.
