'Art': the play about the painting, staged in an artist's studio
About this Event
About the Play
What makes a work of art worth $200,000? And what happens when three friends disagree about the answer?
In Yasmina Reza’s acclaimed comedy 'Art,' a seemingly simple white painting sparks an unexpectedly explosive debate between three longtime friends. As opinions clash and tensions rise, their friendship is put to the test, revealing the delicate balance between honesty, loyalty, and the things we choose to see in one another.
Witty, sharp, and wonderfully human, 'Art' asks us to consider not only what makes something art, but what makes a friendship last.
