DANCE FOR ZAN

Founded by N’Ballou Bangoura in 2022, Dance for Zan was created in honor of her mother, Alexandria “Zan” Meyers a beloved dancer, educator, mentor, and community leader whose life was deeply rooted in dance and culture.

What began as a tribute has grown into a movement dedicated to keeping her spirit, teachings, and love for dance alive.

For 5 years, we have gathered artists, dancers, students, families, and community together to celebrate the legacy she left behind.

Join us as we honor her, celebrate her, and continue what she started.
