In this session, we will look at some of the recent developments in art and trace how they grew from the collapse of Modernism in the 1970s and early 80s. We will review some of the main themes that appear to preoccupy artists in the 21st century within the context of a changing world and the challenges and opportunities this presents.

Studio Kind is situated at the far end of and within Barnstaple Pannier Market. During out of hours, the market can be accessed by a small wooden door from Butchers Row.

Nearest Car parks are the Cattle Market car park or Barnstaple Central. There is disabled parking on Boutport Street.

The bus station is a 5-minute walk away and the train station a 15-minute walk or bus journey of 10 minutes.

Our venue is wheelchair friendly and accessible to all. There are accessible toilets right next door.
