LACA's Art Talks series is delighted to present Politics, Power & Glory a talk by Rebecca Mott, MFA. The presentation will occur on Tuesday, Jun. 4 at 6 p.m. and is open to the public with a suggested donation of $5.In this hour-long presentation, Mott will delve into how in our visual culture, we are inundated with images meant to seduce and convince. How well are we able to read these images to understand their purpose? This lecture looks at selected artworks from the past in order to help us understand the images we consume in the present.
As part of LACA's Art Talks series, this event offers an enlightening journey through art history, techniques, and relevance. Attendees can ask questions and participate in discussions with the presenter and other attendees.
