On November 8th The Artisans Village Guild is hosting a “Swap, Shop and Sell” event for new or gently used art supplies. The sales will be open from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon to all members and the public. It will be held at The Livery Studio at 109 East Marion Street, in downtown Eatonton. This event will give Guild members an opportunity to sell, swap or give away art supplies they no longer need. This may include: Canvasses, brushes, frames, art books, pastels, tubes of paint, palettes, easels, and more!
The Artisans Guild members may register for a “sales table” at the October 11th Guild meeting. The deadline to request a table for items will be October 15th. An email has been sent to all members outlining the requirements and details of the event. Please plan on attending and help to spread the word to friends and family. This should be a fun and exciting event!
We all have so many art supplies that we either, don’t use anymore or have never used, and are taking up space in our Art Cribs. Each Guild Member, who signs up and commits to a table, will be able to bring their lightly used and/or never used art supplies (No Artwork) to Sell, Giveaway or Swap. The Artisans Village Livery Studio will be open at 9 a.m. for participants to set up and then open at 10 a.m. for sales. The event will end at Noon. The “Brush Lady” will also be there from 9 am – 11 pm! With Christmas around the corner, art supplies can make an excellent gift!
