Perfect for those craving intimate and immersive D&D escapades, D&D Weekends is brought to you by Tabletop Vacations, creators of D&D in a Castle. And yes, you can use your D&D in a Castle deposit towards this vacation experience. At this D&D Weekends Event, you’ll game with Jason Carl, one of D&D in a Castle's premier Dungeon Masters, in a one-table vacation event. The game will run a minimum of 20 hours and you’ll spend your game and meal times with both the Dungeon Master and your host, Mike Tinney. Guests become like a family for the weekend, preparing and sharing meals together, with all food, snacks and soft drinks provided.
About the Game:
Embark on a treacherous voyage across the Sea of Sorrows, a realm where the waters are as deep as the mysteries they hide.
Your quest begins at the rain-drenched docks of Blackwater Bay, where whispers of foul omens reach your ears. Your task: a journey to Vigilant’s Bluff, a place sailors speak of in hushed tones, fearing its ghostly shores. What awaits is a test of wits, bravery, and will, as you delve into an ocean of shadows.
This Ravenloft campaign promises a nautical adventure that focuses on story, character, and exploration in a realm where the line between victory and doom can be as thin as a cutlass blade!
Meet the Dungeon Master:
Jason Carl is best known as the gamemaster host of “L.A. by Night,” a Vampire: The Masquerade streaming chronicle on Twitch and YouTube. He has been a writer and developer for Vampire, Mind’s Eye Theater LARP, and Dungeons and Dragons 3rd Edition. Today he is the Brand Marketing Manager for World of Darkness.
Jason views roleplaying as a shared and collaborative experience, with emphasis on roleplaying, dramatic immersion, and deep character interactions.
There will be enemies to fight and mysteries to solve, but he prefers to help everyone at the table create the story together by drawing on character backgrounds, goals, and motivations rather than present static situations or rigid challenges. Rules serve the story, always!
