Join us for a special edition of Art of Photography - Don't take pictures, Make them! This is a three day workshop where we will learn the elements and principles of photography, go out and apply them in the real world and finally meet back up to review what we captured!
In this second part of the workshop series, we're taking our cameras out and going for a photo walk. We will apply the elements and principles learned from the first part of the workshop and go hunting for them in the real work! The photowalk will being at Violet King Henry Plaza (the water fountain by the Alberta Legisture building). From there we will walk around the area, heading towards 104st and Japer ave. The area has lots of great architechture and back alleys perfect for some urban environement landscapes. Once at 104 and Jasper we will wander around the farmer's market. The area will be a little more crowded and possibly some street musicians. Great oppotuinies for some street photography! Finally we will head towards Chuchill Square. Taste of Edmonton is schedule that weekend, meaning lots of traffic will be happening in the area. Once again a perfect opportinity for some candid street photography!
