Join us for an extraordinary evening with internationally acclaimed artist Ghada Amer in celebration of the opening of her new exhibition at the Arts Council of Princeton and the culmination of her three-year Artist-in-Residence program. Before the exhibition opens to the public, guests will gather in the intimate setting of the Taplin Gallery for an exclusive first viewing of Amer’s newest ceramic and print works. Throughout the evening, Amer will share insights into the creative process behind this ambitious body of work, offering a rare opportunity to hear directly from one of the most influential artists of our time.

Over the course of her residency, Amer has pushed the boundaries of ceramics, creating ambitious large-scale works that translate her distinctive visual language into clay. During dinner, guests will enjoy a thoughtfully prepared three-course meal, an intimate artist talk, and an inside look at the challenges, discoveries, and collaborations that shaped the exhibition. Each attendee will also receive a beautifully produced publication featuring Amer’s work, providing a lasting memento of this special evening.
