Art Night
If you’ve never been to Art Night, it’s simple: bring yourself, be yourself, and express yourself. Be considerate of others, respect the space, and enjoy creating alongside fellow artists.
Music plays in the background while conversation flows naturally as everyone works on their own creative project. This isn’t a guided paint class—we all create something different. You can paint, draw, collage, crochet, knit, sculpt, work on a project you bring from home, or relax with one of our sketchbooks or adult coloring books. No experience is necessary. Just come as you are and create at your own pace.
Free materials include:
* Acrylic, watercolor, and gouache paints
* Brushes, sponges, canvases, sketching and watercolor paper
* Colored pencils, crayons, markers, pencils, oil and soft pastels
* Beads, poster board, air-dry clay, collage materials, and a large magazine collection
* Crochet, knitting, and cross-stitch basics
* Ink stamp-making kit
* Sketchbooks and adult coloring books
Art Night is completely free to attend. The goal is to provide a welcoming, safe space where anyone can create, regardless of experience, budget, or access to materials. A regular creative practice has a way of enriching every part of life, and I hope this space helps make that more accessible.
There is never any expectation to donate. If you’re a regular attendee and would like to help keep Art Night going, monetary or art supply donations are always appreciated—but they are completely optional.
There are no expectations for what you create or how long you work. Start something new, finish an old project, make several pieces, or simply spend time in the company of other creative people. Being around fellow creatives is restorative and often inspires new ideas and skills.
A few guidelines:
* Space is limited to about 20 attendees.
* Weekly gatherings.
* 21+ and alcohol-free.
* Treat everyone with kindness, sincerity, and respect.
* Seek understanding, not necessarily agreement.
* No bullying, pushing, or pressuring others.
* Clean up after yourself and help maintain a welcoming environment.
In short: be kind, be authentic, and enjoy creating together.
If you’ve never attended and need the address, just send me a message.
