Schedule

UTC-05:00Location
Mark Twain Museum Gallery | Hannibal, MO
This year’s luncheon will spotlight beloved American painter and illustrator Norman Rockwell (1894–1978), whose iconic images captured the essence of everyday life for generations. Hannibal artist Pat Kerns will present a lively, biographical program exploring Rockwell’s life, career, and enduring impact. The Mark Twain Museum & Gallery—home to Rockwell’s original illustrations for special 1935 editions of The Adventures of Tom Sawyer and Adventures of Huckleberry Finn—offers a fitting backdrop for the event.
Prior to the presentation, guests will enjoy an Americana Picnic menu selected by the Hannibal Arts Council Program Committee to complement the program’s theme. The luncheon will feature New York Deli Chicken Salad, Kipferl Bread Roll, Four Seasons Chopped Salad, and Blueberry Hand Pies, with beverages included.
Tickets are $25 for the general public and $20 for Hannibal Arts Council members. Seating is limited and advance reservations are required by Tuesday, September 9. Tickets may be purchased online at hannibalartscouncil.eventbrite.com, by calling 573-221-6545, or in person at the Hannibal Arts Council, 105 S. Main Street, open noon–5:00 p.m. Monday–Friday.
