2025 HomecomingIt is with great excitement we welcome all Trojans back to our beautiful campus and provide a time for you to reunite with your fellow classmates during our 2025 Homecoming!
HLGU classes of 1975, 1985, 1995, 2005 and 2015 – you will be our honored guests at Homecoming 2025! We hope you will begin making plans to attend November 7 & 8. This will be an event you won’t want to miss!
Friday, November 7
50 Year Club Lunch, 11:30 am, Roland Fine Arts Center Lobby
This special luncheon will honor the Class of 1975 and all alumni from prior years. We will take a class picture and have a small gift for all inductees. Following lunch, shuttles will be available for campus tours. Contact Alumni Director Lauren Youse to reserve your seat.

Alumni & Friends Art Show Opening, Hagerman Gallery
The gallery opening will be 6 pm to 8 pm with special remarks by the artists and HLGU faculty and leadership at 7 pm.

Enjoy a noncompetitive Homecoming walk or light run around our beautiful campus. Pets and strollers are welcome, and there’s no registration or cost—just show up and join the fun! This relaxed event is the perfect way to connect with alumni and friends while taking in the fall scenery at your own pace.

Enjoy a delightful meal and engaging conversation with our esteemed hosts, Dr. and Mrs. Matz. Please note that this is a pay-on-your-own event.

Booster Night featuring John O'Leary 7 pm, Roland Fine Arts Center
The grand finale of Homecoming weekend is Booster Night, which will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 8, in the Roland Fine Arts Center. A cherished tradition at HLGU since 1942, Booster Night brings together alumni, students, and friends of the university for an evening of celebration and inspiration. The program will include updates from HLGU leadership, a performance by the HLGU Concert Choir, a silent auction, and the keynote address.
This year’s featured speaker is John O’Leary, an internationally acclaimed speaker, survivor of a near-fatal childhood fire, and the author of two number-one national bestsellers. O’Leary’s story is also the subject of the newly released film Soul on Fire, which brings his remarkable journey to the big screen. His powerful testimony of perseverance, faith, and hope has inspired audiences around the world. O’Leary’s keynote address will serve as a fitting culmination to the Homecoming celebration, reminding the Trojan family of the enduring values of courage, resilience, and community.
Tickets for Booster Night go on sale Monday, September 8, and start at $40. A limited number of exclusive executive tickets are also available.
