Art Group Crit: Present Your Work, Get Real Feedback
About this Event
🖌️ Join us for our first Art Group Crit. It is a structured peer feedback session for practising artists, illustrators, photographers, and designers. Join our meetup, enjoy a tea and we'll discuss each other's work honestly.
Location: Breeze Bistro & Lounge, 189 Hoxton St, London N1 6RA
The session opens with a relaxed round of introductions - who you are, what you make, what you're currently working on. Then each participant has 5 minutes to present a piece of work, followed by 5 minutes of structured feedback from the group. Observations, questions, recommendations. Nothing harsh, nothing vague.
A facilitator keeps time and holds the tone throughout.
What to bring 📝
Bring a physical piece of work you'd like feedback on - a painting, a print, a photograph, a design. Digital work is welcome too if physical isn't possible. Come with something you're genuinely uncertain about or actively developing - that's where the feedback lands best.
What makes it work ✨
The mix. Painters get feedback from photographers. Designers respond to illustrators. The cross-discipline perspective is often the most useful thing in the room.
About Table For Art 🎨
At Table For Art, we connect professional and emerging artists with local venues across London to create art workshops worth showing up for. Come along for connection, learning, and a genuinely good time. All skill levels are welcome.
Join our WhatsApp community after your first event and enjoy 20% off every TFA workshop after that. We're building lasting friendships with a regular dose of inspiration!
10% of every ticket goes to Save The Children charity, because we believe creativity should give back. Explore more TFA workshops HERE.
📷 A few photos are usually taken during the session to share the good moments with the wider TFA community. Just let us know if you'd prefer to stay out of the frame - no problem at all. See you soon!
