Join us at HumanKind for the first Art After Dark of 2026. Stop by and enjoy the plein air and still life paintings of local artist Dalton Jamieson who will be exhibiting at HumanKind for the first time. Also enjoy the indie pop and classic rock tunes of local band, Different Animals.ARTIST BIO: Dalton Jamieson
Dalton Jamieson lives and paints in San Luis Obispo, California. He has been painting, mostly in oil, for close to forty years. He paints directly from life and is currently focused on a large series of plein-air paintings of views in his backyard. He also paints realistic still lifes.
Jamieson grew up in Claremont, California. In the mid-1980s he attended the University of California, Santa Cruz where he received a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Art History. He also studied painting and drawing while attending UCSC. His paintings have been shown in galleries in California and in New York City.
