Join the Providence Art Club for its monthly Art After Dark event Friday, July 10 from 4-7pm. Light refreshments will be served, the Club's charming bar will be serving up cocktails and mocktails, the galleries will be open for view, and artists will be on hand. Admission is free and open to all.
See two exciting exhibitions. In Maxwell Mays, the Club's National Open Juried Exhibition will be on view. This popular show features 65 works by artists from throughout the region and beyond. Artworks were selected by Leah Triplett, Curator of Contemporary Art at the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts. In Dodge House Gallery, Echoes of Grace will feature recent oil still life and figurative work by PAC Artists Lorraine Hynes and Karen Murtha.
Located at 11 Thomas Street in the heart of College Hill, the Providence Art Club has been a center for the visual arts since 1880. It's three galleries are always free and open to the public. Join in for Art After Dark to step inside this iconic Providence landmark. Don't miss this artful evening!
