'92 Winona / New Idea Society / MorganEve Swain
About this Event
is a Providence-based garage rock quartet featuring Stev DelMonico (vocals/rhythm guitar), Damian Puerini (vocals/lead guitar), Joe Principe (bass), and John Faraone (drums). Blending the raw energy of late-'80s and early-'90s alternative rock with a vintage garage-rock edge, the band quickly established a distinctive sound on their debut album, Hello, Hello. Recorded live with producer Chuck Perry in Providence’s Olneyville neighborhood, the album captures the band's spontaneous chemistry, driving riffs, and unfiltered rock & roll spirit.
is the long-running collaboration between Mike Law (Wild Arrows) and Stephen Brodsky (Cave In, Mutoid Man), whose creative partnership stretches back to their high school years. In 2026, the duo returns with their fourth full-length album, Fire On The Hill, released via Relapse. Built through months of exchanging demos and refining every detail, the record showcases their most collaborative songwriting process to date.
Inspired by the spirit of their early lo-fi experiments and guided by a shared commitment to the craft of songwriting, Law and Brodsky created an album centered on love in all its forms—its beauty, pain, loss, hope, and longing. Drawing on decades of friendship, experience, and a deeply intuitive creative connection, Fire On The Hill captures New Idea Society at its most focused, distinctive, and fully realized.
began The Huntress and Holder of Hands as a vessel for exploring grief and growth after losing her husband and musical partner, Dave Lamb in 2014.
As 5-piece band, The Huntress and Holder of Hands builds harmony, string and bass-driven pieces influenced by Post-Metal, Blues and Americana, offering an intense musical experience that explores love, loss, power and strength.
