About this Event
Embracing Connection: Transforming Loneliness Into a Flourishing Community
Join Arlington County as we welcome former U.S. Surgeon General, Dr. Vivek Murthy for a powerful National Recovery Month event exploring the epidemic of loneliness and its deep ties to physical health, mental wellness, and substance use recovery. This inspiring conversation will highlight how fostering connection can transform communities, support healing, and build resilience in the face of isolation.
Together, we’ll explore actionable strategies to create a more connected, compassionate, and flourishing Arlington.
About Dr. Vivek Murthy
