Arena based 'hacking' obstacle clinic at the lovely Arkle Moor Riding Centre, near Richmond.
An assortment of obstacles representing things you might find out hacking will be set out in the outdoor arena and we will look at each one in turn, before completing a 'hack' linking each obstacle together.
Perfect to build your relationship with your horse and reduce spookiness in real life situations - we'll practice obstacles like bridges, horse stiles, construction work, low hanging branches and overgrown bridleways...
The arena at Arkle Moor is outdoors and it is likely to be windy due to location, please dress yourself and your pony accordingly :)
Priced at £35 per combination for a 90 minute session in a group of up to four people. The clinic can be completed ridden or in hand (or a mix of both!) and is suitable for all ages of horse and rider.
Please note that Arkle Moor has EXTREMELY limited parking space. You MUST be able to confidently manoeuvre your vehicle. The track up to the venue is steep and parking is on a bumpy field so a powerful tow vehicle with good clearance is necessary. Anyone in a larger horsebox will need to park in a nearby layby and ride or lead approx 400m to the venue. Give me a call if you want to talk this through before booking on!
