I am so happy to announce our first Banned Book Book Club Book.
THE BLUEST EYE by Toni Morrison
This is a reread for me. I read THE BLUEST EYE Lin one sitting. I was working at a tiny library annex in a mall. No one was coming in and I had cleaned and resolved everything so I decided I would read it. When it was time for me to close up I was weeping and I had finished the book.
kMany people come into the ARFL and have not read it so this is this pick for our inaugural BANNED BOOK BOOK CLUB.
I encourage you to get your book. The library only currently has one copy but it is popular inventory at Better World Book and other on-line used and new book sites. Also Check ALL IN BOOKS and BLUE BOOKS in Madison and SNAIL ON THE WALL here in Huntsville.
Feel free to suggest any other small business bookstores you might know.
