Hello everyone.
We would like to welcome you all to our Bristol Ant Event for September.
ARCS (Avon Robot Combat Society) is a brand new Robot Combat Organisation based in Bristol.
Our goal is to bring you new Antweight fighting robot events in Bristol, succeeding Bristol Bot Builders on the antweight scene in Bristol.
We've been coming to antweight events in Bristol for many years and now, we're here to officially take over, doing our part to keep the spirit of Robot Wars alive!
ARCS will begin it's run of antweight events with our first event in September. Here's what you can expect.
The event will be free for audience members to spectate at the Zerodegrees, Microbrewery Restaurant in Bristol on Saturday 12th September
If you're coming in by train, the venue is a 27min walk and 12min Drive from Bristol Temple Meads and it is easily accessible by bus
If you're coming by car, a Multistory Car Park is available nearby

Once there, you will be treated to viewing mayhem and carnage on a very small scale with two different tournaments. Full Combat and PLAnts (Plastic Ants)
You will also be able to order drinks and pizza whilst watching the Ant wars unfold!

- 1v1 Full combat Antweights - AWS 2025 rules (150mm starting square)
- 2v2 PLANTS (Plastic ants) - AWS 2025 rules (150mm starting square) plus active weapon rule, plastic chassis & weapons, no acetate.

SCHEDULE:
~12.30pm arrive & check in
~1.30pm Round robin 1v1 full combat round robin tournament
~3pm 2v2 PLANTS round robin tournament
~4.30pm remaining 1v1 full combat fights
Finish by 6.30pm latest.
