2026 Autumn Weapons Seminar

An afternoon seminar exploring some elements of our weapons system. We will be studying a short solo sword kata, and then examining it in partner exercises against the sword and the jo. Although rooted in aikido's weapon techniques, the kata is largely self-contained and system-agnostic, so this seminar is suitable for beginners as well as practitioners of other styles and martial arts - all are welcome!
Cost: £20 (£15 unwaged); the dojo has plenty of spare weapons but please do bring your own if you have them.
