Architectural Walking Tour of Gastown
About this Event
Join the PSMA's Summer Walking Tour, this year tour will focus on Vancouver's Historic Gastown. The tour will be lead by Andrew Lockhart of Atmosphere Architect in partnership with Peeroj Thakre of PH5 Architecture.
The tour will begin at the plaza at junction of Powell, Alexander, Water and Carrall Streets.
The tour will focus on buildings of historic signficance and there will be several stops with short walks in between.
The tour will be about 45-55 minutes and will conclude with a social to be held at one of Gastown's famous pubs/restaurant.
The tour is open to all PSMA members and guests. Cost is $15 per person. Childern if accompanied by an adult are welcome on the walking tour and kids over 16 pay adult prices.
There is a special promotion on our upcoming membership renewals, if guests purchase the 2026-2027 membership, a significant discount is available. The cost for both years' membership is $130 which includes 3 events in 2026 and 6 events in 2027.
Please note, that each year we have host a joint event that your regular member fee ($30 per event) is applied but members do need to pay the difference and that event will held in October 2026.
OUR TOUR GUIDES
Both our tour hosts are members of the Field Collective and are advocates for small firms. In addition, Peeroj is a member of the Gastown BIA and is very knowledgeable about the buildings, the history and the people of Gastown Vancouver.
