The public is invited to an Arbor Day and Earth Day Celebration. City of Monroe Mayor, Pastsy Cudaback, will host a tree planting ceremony at Lake Tye Park to recognize the importance of preserving our natural resources. Fourth and fifth grade students from Fryelands Elementary School will assist in the planting of an Austrian Pine tree, donated by Monroe Garden Club.
