National Arbor Day is a nationwide celebration of the importance of trees and their impact on our communities. We’re celebrating Arbor Day with a 5k Race and 3k Sapling Fun-Run on Saturday, April 25, 2026! This event features a staggered start.
5K Race (chip-timed, certified course) – Begins at 8:00 a.m.
3K Sapling Run (not timed) – Begins at 8:30 a.m.
Both races will take participants through the scenic paved and gravel roads of Huntsville Botanical Garden and the US Space and Rocket Center.
Pets, headphones, and non-registered participants over the age of three are not permitted on the course. Strollers are welcome for the 3k Sapling Run only. All participants under 16 years of age must be accompanied by an adult.
