About this Event

The Arbor showcase brings together artists and researchers from across UCL Queen Square Institute of Neurology, the UK Dementia Research Institute, and UCLH National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery, who are working in partnership through the Arbor programme. Arbor is a public art and knowledge exchange project commissioned by UCL Public Art as part of the public art programme for the Institute of Neurosciences / Dementia Research Institute.

Through a shared period of exchange, artists and researchers develop meaningful collaborations, exploring areas of mutual interest through artist practice. These collaborations give rise to a wide range of outcomes - including exhibitions, installations, performances, sound or digital works, text-based pieces, and public events - offering multiple ways to engage with research, lived experience, and care.

MARGIN: Where clinical boundaries meet lived experience - Emma Barnard and Anand Pandit
Dream Under Microscope - Shelley Hastings and Georgia Akbar with Annarita Scaramaglia
Triptych - William Lindley and Chris Hardy
From Home: Experiences with Dystonia in Domestic Spaces - Zoe Wu and Isobel Platt
