*What*
Schenectady Residents for Responsible Development is bringing city residents and Schenectady County Legislators together in a face-to-face community conversation to discuss questions and concerns members of the community may have about the $105 million proposal for the Capital Region Aquatic Center development planned downtown by the intersection of Erie Blvd and Church St.
City residents have voiced questions about the development and are looking for answers about its accessibility, cost, programming, consistency with our zoning codes & comprehensive plan and more. This is a chance to ask those questions, make sure residents are heard, and consider the ways in which this project does (and does not) reflect principles of responsible development. SRRD invites you to listen, to learn, and to ask questions. This proposal is a publicly-funded work intended to improve your quality of life. Therefore, you deserve to play a role in its development.
