Aqualumina Workshop: Jellyfish Parasols

Please join us to create ethereal jellyfish to carry in Aqualumina’s lantern parade on May 9, 2026. This workshop is led by visual artist Rebecca Kelly.

Participants will use ribbon, fairy lights, and other materials to create their own unique parasol design. You may bring any fabric scraps or special adornments you have in mind (no glitter, please). Participants will use a hot glue gun -- children under 14 should be assisted by an adult.

Limit 10 participants per session. The workshop is $20. Each registered participant will be taking home one parasol to bring to the Festival!

Aqualumina is a nighttime riverside lantern festival of music, visual art, and community, and a celebration of the beauty and vulnerability of the Delaware River and river systems worldwide.
