April Silver Shredders (50+) Ride

Silver Shredders are meeting at the Hooker Falls parking lot. Please plan to arrive 15 minutes early to find your group. This ride starts with a pre-ride overview of the trails, a check of the bikes, answer any questions, and then heads out.

Important Details!

Silver Shredders is for those women 50+ who want to ride with other women in the same age group. This ride group is in the Chill Plus to Modrrt range, but is no-drop so it will be adjusted accordingly. All 50+ women are NOT required to ride with this group and can choose any ride group they prefer or might be better suited to their ability.

Skills / Experience Required: You have mastered Chill ride skills and want a bit more mileage and challenge! You are comfortable with a moderate pace on blue technical (Intermediate) trails with roots/loose rocks, tight single track, and rolling drops.

Endurance Required: Ability to ride at least 10 –14 miles (depending upon terrain) in 2 hours with a few short breaks. Your current fitness routine includes 2–3 cardio workouts per week including riding your bike at least four times a month.

Can ride most of the Bent Creek trails, blue trails in DuPont, Lake James, and Tsali.
