April Family Hike: Earth Day Exploration

Join Friends of the ACFL for our April family hike to celebrate Earth Day while exploring and learning about how to take care of our forest. During this spring stroll, we’ll celebrate different parts of the forest through an appreciation walk, hear a story about how we can care for the forest, and work together on a family-friendly stewardship activity. 

This hike is ideal for families with kids ages 0-10 and will include a slow, easy walk to accommodate our smallest hikers, a break for snack and story time, and a thematic craft or science activity. We welcome all who are looking to explore the forest with us, but please note that this hike will be at a much slower pace than our other community hikes. ,
