Hey neighbors!We (Orca Running) are putting on a free 5K on April 26th and wanted to share it here.
It's called the Annie Curtis Community Run — named after the woman Anacortes is literally named after. Amos Bowman named the whole city after his wife Annie Curtis when they settled here in 1877.
The route goes through downtown, along the waterfront, Tommy Thompson Trail, Causland Park, under the welcome arch, past the Annie Curtis sculpture. Starts and ends at The Depot at 10am.
Rockfish is doing 10% off food and drinks after for anyone who runs/walks it.
