Applied Co-Regulation & Classroom Strategies

This hands-on session builds on the virtual foundation and offers applied practice, real classroom examples, and strategies for supporting children through behavioral intensity, including anger, crying, refusal, and overwhelm. Educators will develop tools for maintaining steadiness and connection, strengthening co-regulation, and helping children return to emotional safety more quickly. Measurable Learning Outcomes
By the end of the full training sequence, participants will be able to:
- Identify at least three common nervous system activation patterns in themselves.
2. Recognize behavioral signs of dysregulation in young children and name corresponding stress responses.
3. Apply a minimum of three real-time regulation tools to remain grounded during challenging behaviors.
4. Demonstrate co-regulation strategies to help children return to emotional safety and participation.
5. Implement proactive classroom micro-practices that reduce behavioral intensity for both teachers and students.
Participants who complete this session will receive a certificate for 3 hours of professional development.
