Come learn how to graft your own apple trees!The WVU Extension Master Gardeners will be hosting 2 apple tree grafting classes on Friday, April 18 at 1 pm and Saturday, April 19 at 10 am.
There will be a couple of different rootstocks and over 20 different apple varieties to choose from.
Dr. Mira from WVU Morgantown will be teaching these classes. The classes will be detailed, hands on and will last about 3 hours.
The classes will be held at Molly Farrow's house, 82 Shooting Range Lane, Berkeley Springs WV 25411.
Grafting knives and pruners will be on hand or bring your own. Rootstock, scions, pots, labels and soil will be provided in the cost.
Please bring your own chair.
Cost is $10 for the first tree and $8 for each additional tree grafted. Go home with the trees grafted by you!
RSVP is not required, but recommended by calling Molly at 540-686-6526.
Please DO NOT park on the neighbor's grass!
