Join us for the annual Anti-Vivisection World Protest 2025, hosted by Toronto Anti-Vivisection Alliance (TAVA).
We are joining over 50 cities around the world to speak up for animals in labs.
Millions of dogs, cats, primates, mice, rabbits, and other animals will be burned, poisoned, tortured, and killed every year in the name of experimentation.
Animals endure extreme physical and psychological suffering for the testing of cosmetics and household products like skincare, cleaning products, and perfume.
Given the availability of alternative methods, it is not only unnecessary to use sentient creatures in the name of “progress”, but also morally barbaric.
WHAT TO EXPECT
This is a peaceful demonstration and outreach event.
We will be creating a visual installation consisting of animal “test subject” toys in cages (see discussion below for images). Accompanying this will be signs detailing common experiments that animals endure in Australia that members of the public will be able to peruse.
We invite you to join the installation by holding signs (these will be provided), or handing out leaflets and talking about animal testing with passersby (key talking points and information will be shared here).
All materials will be provided. However, if you would like to contribute to this event, please contact us.
