we honor BOB JENSEN with our Pioneer Award.
The Minnesota Horse Council presents one Pioneer
Award annually to individuals whose lives have made
a lasting impact on Minnesota’s horse industry.
Bob started and ran Bob Jensen Stables, one of the
most successful barns in the state. He had a very
successful and life long career of training and
exhibiting show horses. He raised, trained and taught
from an early age and became a legendary teacher,
known throughout the country, impacting the skills of
riders both young and old. Although his loss is felt
acutely, his skills and knowledge will be carried on by
the countless equestrians he mentored over his
lifetime of service.
