Annihilation is the queen known for bringing you horror and gore all year round, so of course she was bound to bring you all the things that go bump in the night for the kick off to Halloween! Your hostess with the big pumpkins and blood baths she delights in what gives most frights. Her most ambitious show yet, she cant wait to show you her creepy cryptmates!
Coming from Ottawa, we have FIVE horror artists to delight and disturb the senses.
Austin Paradise: Austin Paradise is the bisexual, transsexual, corpse-painted punkass of Ottawa. He has spent the last 11 months confusing and seducing his hometown with punk-rock classics, campy horror, the dredges of your high school emo phase, and topical political performance. Finally he's ready to escape the city and visit Kingston, where he can't wait to spread his legs-- er, wings, and leave you with a few new kinks to unpack with your therapist next week.
Anni Elation: Anni Elation is a creepycute clowncore coquette that crawled out of the maladaptive daydreams of an anxious child. She loves telling stories and playing pretend, meaning you can expect a whole new fantasy every time she takes the stage. Halloween is, like for so many of us, her favourite season (not day, SEASON) and she’s so excited to celebrate it with the lovely folks of Kingston!
Maggot Morningstar:Maggot Morningstar is the charming, eccentric, clumsy yet entrancing devil-spawn serving an unlimited platter of gothic and whimsy. After a year and a half of being a community-raised drag thing, they've wiggled themself into several Ottawa venues; like The Lookout Bar, winning over screams during June's 'Professionals Night'. As recently as July, Maggot was crowned 'Mr Luscious King' of 2026 in their first pageant win, and will be judging the next competition.In dramatic lipsyncing numbers, embracing sounds of heavy metal, rock and post-punk, their cane is both a mobility aid and a sidekick. Morningstar's approach to drag stems from their undead love for dark art, as well as visceral themes found in the surrealist paintings they create
Mistress Aurora Whorealis: Born under the Midnight Sun Mistress Aurora Whorealis is a kooky, spooky femme fatale who draws inspiration from the worlds of horror, kink and the club kid movement. Hailing from Iqaluit Nunavut Aurora has 5 years of experience performing, hosting and curating iconic performance arts based events in the Arctic regions. She has been living and preforming in Ottawa for the past year recently won Professional Night at the Lookout. Preforming for in Kingston for the first time she is very excited to take you on a sexy, sultry, bloody journey through movement, tease and just a touch of divine feminine rage.
Mx.tique: Trans BIPOC performer? Check!Shapeshifting Mutant? Double check! Mx. Tique is a self taught dancing trans drag artist who keeps the audience wanting more with their upbeat choreo and engaging spirit. Facials, energy, and drama--what more could you need?
Come out for a love letter to horror. This show will include blood, gore, camp , ghosts, vampires- if it scares you, be prepared to face it in Annihilation's Crypt of Creeps.
